In the context of a consistant growth and globalization of Indonesian economy, a small group of successful Indonesian businessmen with common vision and commitment joined in 1987 to establish PT. Sandimas Nasindo, a holding and venture company, with a view to further enhance their individual achievement.

With combined resources and expertise and the established business network of the founding members, Sandimas expands and diversifies its business from building materials to real estate development, logistics, raw materials processing and other industrial fields.

In 1996, PT Sandimas Reksakeramika Granito (SRG), a joint venture between Sandimas Group and Niro Granite of Switzerland and Malaysia, was formed to build a 40000sqm factory in Jakarta, Indonesia. The factory in Jakarta is designed to be fully compliant with the requirements of ISO9002 international management standard and specializes in producing a wide range of high quality tiles for the local as well as the international market.

In the year 1997, Sandimas launched an OEM and Quality Control division in Foshan, China in order to keep in line with the company's agenda to increase its range of products, maintain its exceptional quality and to expand its market share. As the first Indonesian company to set up operations and an office in China for the sole purpose of managing the export of tiles to Indonesia, Sandimas has built its reputation to be a trusted importer of quality China-made tiles in Indonesia.

Today, Sandimas covers all major cities in Indonesia and has grown to be one of the largest importers of building materials into Indonesia.

Parallel to the development of the Indonesian counterpart, Sandimas China has evolved into an international trading arm where it leverages on their massive buying power to provide exceptional quality tiles, coupled with extremely competitive prices to importers worldwide.
